is the union of brothers and sisters Somkhit Phongyoo, Manuela Seus and Willi Kothny to a CoLtd, to support the fencing - sports


Somkhit
Phongyoo


Acquired in Germany coach licences C-, B- and A. As one of the youngest fencing coaches in Germany, his student got the German Champion in cadets.


He trained his brother and bronze medal winner at the Olympics 2000 as Co-trainer. Later on he led Kothny to number 3 in the world.

As Thai national coach, he achieved with Kothny the Asian Champion, got two bronze medals at the Asian Games and took two gold medals at the SEA- Games.

His fencers are ranked top in the Thai ranking.

Phongyoo is training following the scientific foundation of his deceased German fencing master Eberhard Mehl.


Manuela
Seus

U
nder her brother and coach Somkhit Phongyoo, Manuela Seus achieved as young German fencer numerous good results. However she stopped fencing when Somkhit Phongyoo moved to Thailand.


Erik Kothny
F
ather of the three children, is a retired major and a German TV-Journalist.

K
othny supports the project financially and understands himself as creative support and initiator. He does not participate in the business life of PhoSeKo.

German Federal President honored him with the "silver laurel", and the ARD broadcasting awards him the "Fair-Play-Prize".

After the Tsunami he built homes for the Tsunami victims in the fishing village Ban Bangsak, with the financial aid from Germany. He receives the "Certificate of Merit" from the minister of foreign affairs in Thailand.Because of his devotion in the Tsunami relief Thai Sport Journalists awarded him with the  "Sportsman of the Year" Award.

Kothny studied communication art at the Bangkok University International College, and speaks Thai, German and English.
